New features in AutoCAD LT 2011 enhance documentation capabilities with new commands and tools that make the execution of every-day tasks more efficient as well as new commands that give users additional options for controlling the appearance of drawings.
Polyline editing improvements:
The improved functionality of enhanced grips makes polylines significantly easier to edit in AutoCAD LT 2011. New secondary grips provide quick access to multiple functions.
Hatch Command Enhancements:
Improve drafting efficiency with new contextual ribbon tabs for hatch creation and editing.
Create or select similar objects:
Two new commands save steps and time, speeding the process of creating or selecting objects based on the properties of existing objects.
Hide or isolate objects:
The new Hide Objects and Isolate Objects tools control the visibility of objects regardless of Layer, so Focus remains on the designated objects.
Transparency
Transparency is a new variable in AutoCAD LT 2011 for layers and objects that gives users new options for managing the appearance of drawings. While wipeouts or solid fills obscure information and underlays can show too prominently, transparency options allow users to easily Highlight areas to make important information stand out.
